People love watching videos, and video is one of the important factors in keeping your users engaged and staying more in your community. MetaFox makes it easy to share videos from YouTube, Vimeo, Dailymotion, and Facebook or upload videos directly from computers.

Key features:

Browse videos which the viewer has permission to view
Filter videos by quick navigation: All Videos, My Videos, Friends' Videos
Can search videos by keyword and some criteria, such as categories
Each video has title, created date, owner, statistics of views
Owner and moderators can manage videos such as edit / delete / sponsor my video/ sponsor in feed
Moderators can perform some mass actions
Support like, comment, share, report on video
Can view video detail and its information
Manage privacy for videos, restrict who can view videos
Support SEO meta keywords and SEO meta description
Admin can configure Permission settings for each user role
Can manage video categories in AdminCP
Before deleting a category, admin can select another category to move all existing videos
Can configure the responsive size, number of item in each block

Notice:

FFMPEG is required on the server for the functionality of uploading videos directly from computers. In particular, FFMPEG Dependencies are libmp3lame, libvpx, libfdk-aac, libass, libx264, and libvorbis.
FFMPEG 3.0 or higher
Service Keys are required when share videos from Facebook, YouTube, and Vimeo.

Installation Guide

This guide aims to assist you in installing apps in your MetaFox site's AdminCP. Ensure that you have administrative access to the MetaFox site.

Let's log into AdminCP > Apps > Purchased
Now, click on the app you want to install.
Click on the Install/Reinstall button to start installing the app. Wait for the installation to complete.
During the installation, the site will send a build request to the MetaFox Build service to build a front-end web with the new app. Thus, the app may take a few minutes to display on the front end.
After installing successfully, you can reload the AdminCP and start configuring the app as needed by going to AdminCP > App Settings, searching for the newly installed app, and accessing its settings.
